TRAFFIC STOP CHANGES IN RAMSEY COUNTY IMPROVING PUBLIC SAFETY BY BUILDING COMMUNITY TRUST
In 2021 Ramsey County law enforcement leaders announced they would reduce reliance on minor equipment traffic stops; to improve the quality of justice and safety by reducing racial inequities, improving community trust, and focusing resources on situations that are most likely to present a public safety threat.
