Policy Advisory Committee to meet July 15

The Policy Advisory Committee for the Rush Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project will next meet on Thursday, July 15 at 2:30 p.m. on Zoom. At this meeting, the committee will hear updates from project staff about the environmental and engineering processes and the project's planned transition from Ramsey County to the Metropolitan Council as the lead local agency.

Members of the public can register to attend the meeting, which includes a public comment period, here. This registration form will be available through the end of the meeting.

Environmental Assessment next steps

The Environmental Assessment was available for public comment between May 11 and June 25, 2021. Ramsey County thanks the individuals and organizations who reviewed the document and submitted comments.

More than 180 comments were submitted during the public comment period. All comments are now being reviewed by the Federal Transit Administration and Ramsey County, the lead federal and local agencies for the Rush Line BRT Project. Substantive comments will be responded to in the environmental decision document, expected to be published in fall of 2021.
