The program will be open for applications in the coming weeks.
Eligible renters will include households that earned 80% or less of area median income in 2020 or in the most recent month. Landlords will be able to apply on behalf of their eligible tenants as well.

CARES funding community conversations
A series of community conversations will be held to discuss three areas of Ramsey County’s COVID-19 response:
- Food security and basic needs – April 19.
- Employment support – April 20.
- Racial Equity and Community Engagement Response Team – April 27.
During the sessions, staff will share how funds received through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act were rapidly invested into our community through Ramsey County Investment and Support Efforts (RISE) programs. Community members will also be asked to provide feedback on how additional relief funding should be invested in these areas; this input will help guide county priorities in 2021-2022.
