All appointments available this week for the state of Minnesota’s vaccine pilot program for adults 65 years of age and older have been filled. Appointments will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 26 starting at noon. At that time, you can make an appointment online or by phone at 612-426-7230 or toll free at 833-431-2053.
Governor Walz on Monday announced the community COVID-19 vaccination pilot program at nine locations for the following groups:
- Minnesotans aged 65 and over.
- Pre-k through grade 12 educators.
- Child care workers.
Nearly 6,000 Minnesotans 65 years of age and older registered for the appointments available this week. Additional appointments that were open this week were also reserved for almost 6,000 pre-kindergarten through grade 12 educators, school staff and child care workers. The nine pilot vaccination sites are in Anoka, Brooklyn Center, Fergus Falls, Marshall, Mountain Iron, North Mankato, Rochester, St. Cloud and Thief River Falls.

Ramsey County is not operating these vaccine clinics. Due to very limited supply, we do not have vaccine available at this time for the general public. We continue to coordinate and provide vaccinations as guided by federal and state guidelines for individuals in Phase 1a.
