Absentee voting opens June 26 for state primary
Ramsey County voters may vote early by using an absentee ballot in advance of the state primary on Tuesday, Aug. 11. Residents can cast their ballot in person or vote by mail from June 26 to Aug. 10.

Voting by mail is safe, easy and convenient. You do not need to provide a reason to vote by mail. You can request your ballot now for both the state primary and general election.

First half property tax deadline extended to July 15
The deadline for first half property tax payments has been extended from May 15 to July 15, 2020 for qualifying property owners. Learn which properties qualify.

Emergency assistance is available for those who are experiencing interruptions in their income and having trouble paying for rent, mortgage or utilities. Ramsey County has recently made updates to eligibility requirements and increased maximum dollar limits for those seeking relief during COVID-19.

Computers available by appointment
Ramsey County Library offers free computer access by appointment at the libraries in Maplewood, Roseville and Shoreview. Appointments are for computer use only. Call the individual library to make a two-hour appointment for the current day or next day.

Basic computer and technology help is available over the phone on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon - 2 p.m. Call 651-724-6001 and press 2 to schedule your half-hour telephone appointment. Call a library location during open hours to speak with a reference librarian for help with downloading e-books, e-audiobooks and other library e-resources.

The Business4Business Minneapolis-Saint Paul (B4B MSP) coalition will connect small businesses with local resources from public agencies and private sector partners, including technical and financial assistance to provide immediate relief.

Pandemic-electronic benefit transfer (P-EBT)
Families who received free or reduced-price school meals in the 2019-2020 school year or attended a school that offers free school meals to all students are eligible for P-EBT. This temporary program provides a one-time payment of $325 per child to families to replace benefits they would otherwise have received during the school year. A hotline for P-EBT questions is available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 651-431-4050 or 800-657-3698. Using this service will not impact your immigration status or count as a public charge.
