Ramsey County residents can join a virtual town hall at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 to get your questions answered and learn more about:
- Voting options for the 2020 primary election and general election.
- The 2020 census.

Contracting opportunities for workforce-related services
Contracting opportunities are available for non-profits or fiscally sponsored organizations to provide quality workforce-related services to residents through December 30, 2020. Funded by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the purpose of these contract opportunities is to address and help mitigate the economic and workforce gaps of Ramsey County residents most impacted by COVID-19.
The economic impact from COVID-19 is disproportionately affecting black people, indigenous people, people of color, people with disabilities, veterans and opportunity youth communities. Organizations that focus on ending racial and socioeconomic disparities are encouraged to apply.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people are struggling with access to enough healthy food.

- Programs to increase monthly food budgets.

- Programs for seniors.
- Programs for people with transportation or mobility barriers.

Many food shelves in our community are in need of food and monetary donations. Please contact your local food shelf to learn about specific needs if you’re interested in donating.
Small Business Relief Fund applications open until June 12
Ramsey County is providing emergency assistance to small local businesses adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications are being accepted for the Small Business Relief Fund, providing grants of $7500 to small businesses most in need of support. The first round of awards, open through June 12, includes 670 grants being awarded to help businesses with 20 or fewer employees pay for critical expenses such as rent or mortgage payments, utilities and costs associated with reopening. Subsequent grant periods will be announced in the weeks ahead.
Funding for the Small Business Relief Fund is provided through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The Relief Fund will be administered by the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers’ Open to Business program.

Join Pay It Forward, a program providing free assistance to local businesses by helping them navigate COVID-19 grant and loan relief opportunities. The program will connect financial professionals with small business owners in Saint Paul and suburban Ramsey County who are seeking assistance.
