Community Advisory Committee Members Named

Committee will advise project decision makers

The Policy Advisory Committee for the Rush Line BRT Project named 22 members to its new Community Advisory Committee on May 31. The committee selections were based on geography and diversity along the route. The Community Advisory Committee will advise project decision makers on such important topics as:

  • Station location and development.
  • Pedestrian, bicycle and transit connections.
  • Environmental factors and considerations.

Other May 31 meeting highlights include an overview of project planning and public engagement activities, a review of the proposed route and a discussion of the draft Communications and Public Engagement Plan.

The Policy Advisory Committee will next meet Thursday, July 26, at 3 p.m. at Hiway Federal Credit Union, 111 Empire Drive, Saint Paul.


Learn About the Rush Line BRT Project at Ride & Walk

Saturday, June 16 | 10 - 11:30 a.m.

The Ride & Walk will be a great chance to discuss possibilities for trail alignments, landscaping and station planning, as well as directly see part of the proposed route and some of its key features. 

Free snacks and light refreshments will be provided and kid-friendly activities are planned. The event, held rain or shine, will start and end at the Bruce Vento Trail circle, north of Frost Avenue in Maplewood.
