Spring training and other news from your MRC Coordinator

Access and functional needs: updated time and location

One of our goals here in the Health Department is to support health equity across Ramsey County and assure inclusion in our programs and services. Over the past year, I've been working with my colleagues to enhance our emergency planning to address those goals.

As we move forward with this work, I hope you will be able to attend a special training opportunity with a panel of experts in disability and health on April 20, 2017.

This training is designed to improve emergency planning for individuals who experience disability as well as their families, neighbors, and friends. The speakers are Laurie Kalland (Minnesota State Services for the Blind), Kim Moccia (Minnesota STAR Program), Margot Imdieke-Cross (Minnesota State Council on Disability), and Marie Koehler (Minnesota Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services).

We are hosting this event at the newly renovated Roseville Library Community Room. Please note the updated (daytime) training hours.
