Businesses can pick up free face masks July 30 in Plymouth
With the new statewide face mask requirement in place, businesses can pick up free masks 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 30 at an outdoor distribution site in the Plymouth Creek Center parking lot, 14800 34th Ave. N.
Businesses may obtain up to 500 disposable masks to give to employees and customers, as needed. The masks – provided by the State of Minnesota to chambers of commerce – will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Plymouth has been allocated 60,000 masks.
Businesses will be asked to complete a short registration form at the site.
To minimize the spread of the coronavirus, those picking up masks should wear a face covering and practice social distancing at the site. Volunteers will wear face masks as well.
The July 30 distribution in Plymouth is spearheaded by the City of Plymouth Economic Development Division in coordination with TwinWest Chamber of Commerce/Minneapolis Regional Chamber.
