Schmidt Lake Road & Zachary Lane Pavement Rehabilitation Project Public Hearing Set for May 26
A public hearing has been scheduled for the May 26, 2020 City Council meeting for the proposed Schmidt Lake Road and Zachary Lane Pavement Rehabilitation Project. At this meeting, the City Council will consider ordering the improvement, adopting the assessments, and awarding the contract for the work related to the reconstruction project.
COVID-19 Note about the May 26 Public Hearing At this time, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the governor’s stay home order, Plymouth City Hall is closed to the public. It is uncertain whether City Hall will be open for the May 26 City Council meeting/public hearing – and it’s likely that the meeting will be held virtually (via Zoom webinar/conference call). If City Hall is open, to promote social distancing, some council members may participate remotely and chairs in the council chambers will be reconfigured to allow for more space between attendees.
Watch the meeting: Regardless, the meeting will be televised on Cable Channel 16 and live-streamed online at: https://ccxmedia.org/ccx-cities/plymouth.
Public participation: If the meeting is held virtually, or for those who choose not to attend an in-person meeting, the public may submit comments or questions via email to be read aloud during the meeting. To be included, comments must be submitted prior to the close of the public hearing portion of the meeting or in advance, and the public is encouraged to allow time for technology delays.
Comments for the Tuesday, May 26 City Council meeting may be emailed to City Clerk Sandy Engdahl at sengdahl@plymouthmn.gov. The public may also speak during a virtual meeting via telephone or Zoom Conferencing Service at no cost – and must email City Clerk Sandy Engdahl at sengdahl@plymouthmn.gov to obtain the password at least one hour prior to the meeting.
Information about the status of the meeting (virtual or in-person), as well as detailed instructions for viewing and participating, will be published with the packet and available on the city’s website the Thursday afternoon prior to the meeting.
