The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Co-Trustees for the 3M Settlement, recently created a video titled Keeping our drinking water safe.
The video helps to explain how safe and reliable drinking water is delivered to those affected by PFAS contamination in the east metropolitan area.

In February 2018, Minnesota and the 3M Company settled their lawsuit regarding natural resource damages associated with a group of chemicals known as PFAS. 3M is making a grant of $850 million as a condition of the settlement to address two priorities in the east metropolitan area.
- Priority 1: Safe and sustainable drinking water
- Priority 2: Restore and enhance natural resources
