The Enterprise Redeployment Center has been busy reassigning employees to help state agencies meet critical needs and preserve state resources in this challenging time. It is still possible that some MPCA staff may be redeployed in this next phase of gradually returning to our work spaces. We will continue to adapt and change staffing and operations as the situation evolves.
Please take a few moments to update your personal information and skills in Self Service. This information gives us a better understanding of our workforce’s skills and availability, so employees can be redeployed to meet critical needs.

A number of child care facilities around the state have openings. MMB has information for families and providers, including an interactive map of centers with current openings. But keep in mind that MPCA remains flexible and encourages employees and supervisors to work together to develop a plan that balances work needs with the realities of school children at home.
Correction: The distance learning mandate extends through the 2019-2020 academic year. The MPCA COVID-19 Update on April 27 included an incorrect end date.
A special Combined Charities event was launched in response to the COVID-19 crisis, to support the charities seeing increased need for their services. In this special drive, State of Minnesota employees can give via payroll deduction.
Visit the Combined Charities website to learn about the charity federations, their affiliated partners, and how your donations can make a difference in your community. Your contributions support organizations that address hunger, access to healthcare, poverty, higher education, the arts, and more. In some cases, you can direct your donation to the nonprofit of your choice.
