Agendas for the October 15 Citizen–Business Group meeting and the October 16 Government and 3M Working Group meeting are now available on the 3M Settlement homepage. The agendas for these meetings are the same.
These meetings will be held at the Cottage Grove Grove City Hall, located at 12800 Ravine Parkway South. All 3M Settlement meetings are open to the public and time is set aside for questions and comments from attendees.
The South Washington County Telecommunication Commission recorded the September 18 meeting of the Government and 3M Working Group meeting. It's available on YouTube.
Just a reminder of two 3M Settlement public meetings that have been scheduled for later this month. Both meetings will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 22 — Oak-Land Middle School, 820 Manning Ave. North, Lake Elmo
- Thursday, October 24 — Woodbury High School, 2665 Woodlane Dr, Woodbury
At these meetings, representatives from the Minn. Pollution Control Agency and Minn. Department of Natural Resources will discuss ongoing efforts to provide safe drinking water to area residents whose private wells have been contaminated with PFAS. They will also discuss a range of projects being considered as long-term solutions for south Washington County drinking water issues.
Representatives from the Minn. Department of Health will also be on hand to answer questions.

In February 2018, Minnesota and the 3M Company settled their lawsuit regarding natural resource damages associated with a group of chemicals known as PFCs. 3M is making a grant of $850 million as a condition of the settlement to address two priorities in the east metro area. Priority 1 is safe drinking water and groundwater sustainability. Priority 2 is restoring and enhancing natural resources.
