Major Road Openings!

This holiday weekend brings some major milestones for light rail construction in Stadium Village including reopening Ontario Street and Huron Boulevard. When crews return on Tuesday from Labor Day weekend, Washington Avenue between Huron and University Avenue will open and construction on the south side of University Avenue will be complete. Please be mindful of new signage and pedestrian crossings as crews shift to working on the north side of University Avenue.

A big thank you goes out to everyone that has been part of keeping this tremendous public works project moving successfully forward. Hats off to the crews that have been working extended hours to have roads, sidewalks, and crosswalks open for the start of fall semester. Wishing you all a safe and happy Labor Day!
