Imagine the possibility of effortlessly traveling around the world on the soon-to-come Central Corridor LRT to an interesting variety of restaurants with live music, even on a weeknight!
Jazz on the Line, with Mira and Tom Kehoe is a free evening of jazz, Brazilian and world music. There is no cover charge, but please support the restaurant by ordering dinner and drinks.

Highlights

  • Victoria on the north side of University scheduled to reopen to north-south traffic on Monday, July 16. Avon will close once Victoria reopens. - NEW
  • Traffic maintained on the south side of University between Griggs and Rice with one lane in each direction; watch for lane shifts. - NEW
    The I-94/I-35E commons will close the weekend of July 20-23 for Cedar St. bridge work. See attached map for detour routes and more information. - NEW
  • The southbound lane on Cedar at 12th will open to right-turns early in the week. - NEW
Upcoming work, more details in upcoming updates:
  • Western on the north side of University will close to north-south traffic for utility, roadway and track work beginning in early August. Arundel will be open during the closure. The closure is expected to last approximately four weeks.

Traffic Details
  • Victoria on the north side of University scheduled to reopen to north-south traffic on Monday, July 16. Avon will close once Victoria reopens. - NEW
  • Traffic maintained on the south side of University between Griggs and Rice wtih one lane in each direction; watch for lane shifts. - NEW
  • The I-94 and I-35E commons will close the weekend of July 20-23 for Cedar St bridge work. See attached map for detour routes and more information. - NEW
  • The southbound lane on Cedar at 12th will open to right-turns early in the week. - NEW
  • University between Rice and Robert closed to all traffic movements into fall 2012. See attached map for more information.
  • The following intersections between Pascal and Robert are signalized for vehicular traffic movements: Pascal, Hamline, Lexington, Victoria, Dale, Western, Marion, Rice and Robert.
  • Traffic on Lexington, Dale, Marion, and Rice switched to one lane in each direction at University; watch for lane shifts.
Sidewalk and Crosswalk Details
  • North crosswalk closed at University and Lexington, University and Dale, and University and Rice; use south, east, and west crosswalks.
  • Sidewalk on east side of Cedar closed between 12th and Old Columbus; use sidewalk on the west side.
  • Signalized pedestrian crossings installed at Hamline, Griggs, Lexington, Chatsworth, Victoria, Grotto, Dale, Mackubin, Western, Marion, Rice, and Robert.
Bus Details
  • Eastbound and westbound routes 16, 50, and 94B re-routed with the University closure between Rice and Robert.
  • Stops closed at Rice and University, MLK and John Ireland, MLK and Cedar, and Cedar at Old Columbus. Westbound stop closed at Marion and University.
  • Eastbound temporary bus stops in place at Aurora and Rice, Rice at Sears, and Rice at St. Anthony.
  • Westbound temporary bus stops in place at Rice at State Building entrance, Rice at Sears, Aurora at Rice, and Aurora at Marion.
  • Routes 16 and 50 bus stops located at all signalized pedestrian crossings on University from Hamline to Marion. All other stops between Hamline and Rice on University are temporarily closed.
