- Streets will be striped.
- Crews will shift traffic control to the north side of the intersection.
- Crews will begin sawcutting and removal of concrete on the north side of the intersection.

Following the completion of civil construction, work is focused on installation of lighting and E Line platform amenities. We will update this section when we have timelines for this work.
Note: The City of Edina is currently constructing sidewalks along the east side of France Avenue between 60th and 62nd streets. This is not METRO E Line work. To learn more about this project or if you have a concern, please reach out to Chad Millner at the City of Edina.
France Avenue between 60th and 66th streets has reopened to northbound traffic. Construction is approximately two weeks ahead of schedule.
Week of May 12:
- Crews will finalize construction of roadway surfaces, add striping, and install signage.
- Crews anticipate completing civil construction and removing traffic control on Friday, May 16.
- Following completion of civil construction, France Avenue and 62nd Street will reopen to all directions of traffic.
Week of May 19:
- Following the completion of civil construction, work will be focused on installation of E Line platform amenities. We will update this section when we have timelines for this work.
Note: The City of Edina is currently reconstructing 65th Street east of Drew Avenue. This is not METRO E Line work. To learn more about this project or if you have a concern, please see the City’s project website.
- Access to Southdale Hospital and Southdale Medical Center parking lots and garages will be maintained during construction.
- France Avenue can be accessed from the Hospital and Medical Center by taking Drew Avenue to 66th Street.
