METRO E Line construction update: February 17, 2025

We have updated our construction map for the METRO E Line. You can find it at the top of our project web page.

Regular construction updates will be less frequent until spring. We anticipate continuing construction throughout the winter with installation of permanent signals, lighting, electrical service, and station amenities such as shelters. This construction will have minimal impacts. All detours for the season have been removed.

Work is happening at these stations:

Dates are approximate and subject to change.

France & 47th Street:

Week of Feb. 24:

Transit shelters will be installed at both northbound and southbound stations. Workers will be flagging traffic throughout this work which will take one day to complete.

France & 50th Street:

Week of Feb. 24:

Transit shelters will be installed at both northbound and southbound stations. Traffic through this intersection will be maintained using lane shifts and temporary parking restrictions. This work will take one day to complete.

France & 54th Street:

Week of Feb. 24:

Transit shelters will be installed at both northbound and southbound stations. Workers will be flagging traffic throughout this work which will take one day to complete.

More regular construction updates will resume in spring.
