Metro Transit is asking for community feedback on proposed G Line station locations

The Recommended Corridor Plan is now available for review and comment. The METRO G Line Recommended Corridor Plan shares the proposed location of stations and platforms with the public. Explore the plan and provide your feedback by October 25. Learn how you can participate in the process at metrotransit.org/g-line-project.

What is the METRO G Line?

The METRO G Line is a planned arterial bus rapid transit (BRT) line. The G Line will provide fast and reliable transit service in the Route 62 and Route 68 corridor. BRT buses and stations are comfortable and easy to use. The G Line will run from Little Canada through downtown St. Paul to the Dakota County Northern Service Center mainly along Rice Street and Robert Street.

What is the G Line schedule?

2022-2024: Planning 
2024-2025: Engineering 
2026-2028: Construction

Provide feedback on bus service changes in Network Now

Metro Transit is seeking your feedback on Network Now, a plan designed to grow ridership, expand job access, and better meet the region’s changing mobility needs. This plan will directly affect bus service levels (both local bus and bus rapid transit) in the G Line corridor and the region through 2027.

Comment now through November 15. Your feedback will help us ensure we’re on the right track and determine what to focus on first. We will make the final changes in phases, depending on workforce hiring and retention.
