Join us at upcoming Purple Line BRT community meetings!
Provide your feedback on a preferred corridor for the METRO Purple Line at upcoming events – Should Purple Line run along the Bruce Vento Regional Trail or White Bear Avenue?
Purple Line bus rapid transit (BRT) project staff plan to engage the community over the Bruce Vento Regional Trail co-location and the White Bear Avenue Corridor route alternatives.
Join us at community meetings and pop-up events, engage in door-knocking conversations, or connect virtually to provide feedback on:
-
Whether Purple Line should run along the Bruce Vento Regional Trail Corridor or the White Bear Avenue Corridor.
-
Purple Line bus lane options, including a new center-running bus lane option in the St. Paul section of the White Bear Avenue Corridor.
Your feedback will help us select the best route for the Purple Line at the end of the summer.

Based on community leaders input and , Purple Line project staff have spent the last few months designing a narrowed center–running concept in the Saint Paul section of the White Bear Avenue Corridor, on Maryland and White Bear avenues. The concept design is complete and project staff are now soliciting feedback on this option this summer at open houses and community events, and you can email purpleline@metrotransit.org to send your feedback anytime.
The METRO D Line and METRO Orange Line each had their highest monthly ridership totals in May, with the METRO C Line having their highest monthly total since November 2019.
