Marshall & Cleveland      

Construction at this intersection will include new station platforms and partial street reconstruction featuring new street, sidewalk, and pedestrian ramps.      

Construction activities will first include street and sidewalk work, then transition to installation of station features. The intersection will be open to four-way traffic, with lane restrictions along Marshall Avenue.     

Underway:      

• Crews are completing underground electrical work, and will begin work on the concrete station areas 

Upcoming:        

• Crews will complete concrete station areas  
• Construction work and traffic control at this station is anticipated to be completed by July 21.    
• The installation of shelters, pylons, and other station features will follow shortly thereafter at both the north and south sections of the intersection, with all major work scheduled to be complete by late August. 

Marshall & Fairview

Selby & Dale 

Construction includes partial street reconstruction, new station platforms, new street, new sidewalk, and new pedestrian ramps. 

Underway:      

• Selby Avenue is closed to westbound vehicle travel at Dale Street until mid-August 
• Crews began construction work this week and completed concrete removals and site prep. 

Upcoming:        

• Crews will begin pouring curb and gutter and begin underground electrical work. 

• Installation of shelters, pylons, and other station features will follow shortly thereafter, with major construction on stations complete by late August.  

Selby & Arundel 

Construction will include partial street reconstruction, new station platforms, new street, new sidewalk, and new pedestrian ramps.       

Underway:      

• Selby Avenue is closed to vehicle access on the east side of the intersection until mid-August.  
• Crews began construction work this week and completed concrete removals and site prep. 

Upcoming:        

• Crews will begin storm sewer work and curb and gutter work.  

• Installation of shelters, pylons, and other station features will follow shortly thereafter, with major construction on stations complete by late August.  

Minneapolis        

Lake Street     

Work is currently occurring on the northern half of Lake Street and is moving from the east, starting at Lake Street & West River Parkway, to the west, ending at Lake Street & Minnehaha Avenue. Two-way traffic is being maintained along Lake Street with lane and parking restrictions in place.  

Work is currently expected to shift to the southern side of Lake Street in early August. 

Later this summer, construction will include a mill and overlay as well as lane restriping.  Sidewalks will remain open on at least one side of the street and pedestrian access will be maintained to homes and businesses.    

Underway     

Crews are currently completing concrete corner work at:

• Lake & 36th  
• Lake & 33rd  
• Lake & 31st  
• Lake & 27th  
• Lake & Minnehaha   

Crews have completed work on the northern half of Lake Street at:  

• Lake & West River Parkway   
• Lake & 47th   
• Lake & 45th   
• Lake & 43rd 
• Lake & 42nd 
• Lake & 39th 
• Lake & 36th  

There will be a shift in traffic control at the intersection of Lake & 27th due to a need to work on underground utilities. This shift will remove the middle left turn lane and will last approximately two weeks.

Construction at station locations includes partial street reconstruction, new station platforms, new street, new sidewalk, new traffic signals, and new pedestrian ramps.   

Construction at non-station intersections includes curb ramp work, new sidewalk, roadway improvements, and signal improvements.
