The community between construction areas at Selby & Lexington and Selby & Victoria has experienced several water outages in the past weeks. While the B Line project did have planned water work at Selby and Lexington in late May, there has been additional emergency work needed as water main valves broke and began leaking due to old age.
Work that was supposed to be concentrated in a residential area around Lexington had to be expanded quickly to resolve the issue, affecting a larger range of water customers. Saint Paul Regional Water Services is coordinating this work and can be reached by phone at 651-266-6350.
