Crews installing shelters at the 7th St. & Olson/5th Ave. northbound station
Construction work began on April 18 and will continue throughout the year. We will provide newsletter updates monthly.

Construction at this intersection began the week of July 18.

The intersection will be partially closed until Oct. 14, with lanes reduced.

Construction will include new station platforms, shelter and pylon installation, sidewalk, pedestrian ramps, signals, and utility work.

This week, crews completed curb and gutter work. Next week, crews will complete underground electric work, and near completion of flatwork. This station will be substantially complete on Oct. 11.

What happens after major construction is complete?
After major construction on D Line stations is complete, there are several other tasks that need to be done at the station areas before service can begin. In coming months, staff will complete key final steps to fully construct the station areas so they are ready for customers and for D Line service. These tasks include:
