Crews have continued to install shelters and other station amenities at D Line station locations where foundations were completed last year. Crews are starting on the north end of the line and moving south as shelters are installed. While station areas will still be open for customer use, the shelter areas will not be able to be used until later this year, while electrical work, testing, and safety certifications are still ongoing.
Additionally, route testing has begun for D Line buses and service. Metro Transit staff are currently running test buses along the D Line to begin testing schedules for the future service.
