An updated construction map showing completed D Line construction work
During the 2021 construction season, crews were able to complete street construction, station foundation, and underground work on 25 of the 30 future D Line stations. Five of these stations were completed ahead of schedule, significantly reducing the amount of construction work to begin next year.
During the next few weeks, you’ll see crews preparing the station areas for winter. D Line shelters and other station amenities will be installed next year, with construction and installation of all stations completed in time to prepare for D Line service starting at the end of 2022.
As space allows at bus stops with high ridership, temporary bus shelters will be installed near future D Line stations to protect customers from inclement weather this winter.
Stations planned for 2022 construction
Five stations are planned for construction in 2022. Timelines for construction start will be determined in late winter, but work is currently planned to begin as early as April if weather allows.
