Public comment period for Draft 2022-25 Transportation Improvement Program

The Metropolitan Council’s Transportation Advisory Board is receiving public comment on Draft 2022-25 Transportation Improvement Program. The four-year program includes highway, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian projects proposed in the Minneapolis-St. Paul urbanized planning area including the seven-county metropolitan area.

 

These projects will:

  • Build better roads that improve safety and include all forms of transportation
  • Improve highways, bridges and interchanges that enhance traffic flow and improve local access
  • Invest in transit to create a stronger system that supports our growing region and better serves everyone
  • Create community connections by developing and improving bikeways and walkways

The program will be recommended by the board and approved by the Metropolitan Council. Public comment will be received until 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 6.

Submit a comment

The Council will receive comments on the Draft Transportation Improvement Program from Sunday, May 23 through 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 6 as follows:

The final document will be considered at the Aug. 18 Transportation Advisory Board meeting, which begins at 12:30 p.m. The Council plans to consider final adoption of the program on Sept. 22.
