2025 Annual Report
The Office of Ombudsman for Long-Term care has issued its federal fiscal year 2025 annual report. This covers the federal fiscal year that runs from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. The OOLTC submits case and complaint data to the federal Administration for Community Living that covers this time period and it is from this data that the report is crafted.
A few highlights from the report to note:
- 6,092 facility visits occurred
- 8 gov.delivery notices were published
- OOLTC staff and volunteers responded to 6,196 complaints
- Concerns about care remained the top complaint
- 29 volunteers donated 2,832 hours of time supporting residents
