Celebrate 50 Years of Earth Day!

On April 22, Celebrate 50 Years of Earth Day!

While we're all staying socially distant, there's one milestone we can honor safely, together. And that's the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22!

Join us (in spirit!) as we celebrate all month long by:

  • Adopting a Drain: It's an easy and safe way to have a positive impact on our environment.
  • Getting Outside and Enjoying Fresh Air: Bring a trash bag and gloves too! While keeping a safe distance, pick up debris around your neighborhood. Our wildlife thanks you in advance!
  • Planting Natives: And getting a grant to do it through the state's Lawns to Legumes program.
  • Visiting earthday.org for more great ways to celebrate 50 years of Earth Day at home or while maintaining those all-important six feet between us outdoors.

We'd Love to See You in Action!

Snap a photo of how you're celebrating, and share it with us through any of the city's social media accounts. We can't wait to see you stepping up for our planet!
