Our Thank You to Riders Club Members

As we approach the end of the year, we want to thank you for being a member of the Metro Transit Riders Club.

You've provided valuable input on a range of projects which have helped us improve our transit service, such as:

  • The design of C Line schedule posters
    • Your preference for station-specific schedules and maps was used to finalize the design of these posters.
  • The Text for Transit Info tool
    • This tool is an additional way for riders to connect to a transit expert for help with trip planning, schedules, and other questions.
  • The Drive Change initiative
    • With your input, we continue working towards our goal of making transit a harassment-free environment. View a summary of the survey results here.
  • Usability testing for www.metrotransit.org
    • Several Riders Club members were selected to participate in a usability study of the Metro Transit website. Their feedback will be reflected in changes to the website, coming this month.
  • Network Next
    • Your responses to the Network Next survey will be considered when developing our vision for the bus network of 2040. If you haven't taken the survey yet, the deadline has been extended to December 31.
  • METRO E Line Alignment Review
    • Thanks to your involvement, we received over 400 comments on the recommended routing and concept station locations. A complete record of the comments we received along with a summary of themes will be available on the E Line project website in the next few weeks. Sign up for E Line project updates to stay in the loop!

Bus stop sign

To say thank you for all the feedback you’ve provided, we’re offering every Riders Club member a trip down memory lane and a piece of Metro Transit history—a free bus stop sign from the past! You can pick up your sign and talk with Riders Club support staff in the lobby of our Heywood office during these times:

560 N 6th Ave

Minneapolis, MN 55411

Tuesday, Dec. 17, 7:30-9:30 a.m. and 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 18, 7:30-9:30 a.m. and 3:00-5:00 p.m.

While you are picking up a sign, you can drop off socks! The Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom is partnering with Metro Transit to distribute care packages along our Blue and Green lines on Christmas day. New socks (wool or other warm material) will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 20 at the Heywood office front desk.

Thanks for riding with us!
