Changes to COVID-19 Reporting in Minnesota Congregate Care Settings

MDH is changing the process for reporting cases of COVID-19 from long-term care facilities. These changes will begin July 13, 2022 at 4:30 pm. To learn more about what and how to report cases of COVID-19 to MDH after July 13, please see the following:

The recorded presentation Changes to COVID-19 Reporting in Minnesota Congregate Care Settings is now available on the MDH website. It describes in detail what the changes are to reporting by facility type (nursing home, assisted living facility, DHS facility, etc.). You can access the presentation here: https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/hcp/ltc.html

MDH is hosting a special LTC webinar on Wednesday, July 13th, 3:30-4:30 pm to review the reporting changes and answer questions. Register for the webinar here: https://minnesotaevents.webex.com/minnesotaevents/j.php?RGID=r30cc7d1c6f3efd090f64cfbaf6b89da9

After viewing the recording or attending the webinar, if you still have questions regarding these reporting changes, you can email them to Health.LTC.COVID19.MDH@state.mn.us.
