Getting vaccinated and boosted is the most important and effective thing you can do to protect yourself against COVID-19 and slow the spread of the virus. It’s easy and convenient to get the shots your family needs through the Minnesota Department of Health community vaccination program. Appointments are available at these sites but not required – walk-ins are encouraged!
New clinic in Oakdale now open Sunday–Tuesday.
The newest community vaccination site at Inwood Oaks in Oakdale can vaccinate anyone 5 and older, with Pfizer vaccines for 5- to 11-year-olds, Pfizer vaccines for people 12 and older, and Pfizer boosters for people 12 and older. Families are encouraged to get vaccinated together; parents and older kids can get a booster while kids age 5–11 receive their first shots.
The Oakdale clinic is open weekly, Sunday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Monday–Tuesday 1–8 p.m. Go to Community Vaccination Program–Oakdale to schedule a vaccine for yourself or someone else in your household. On-line sign-up is available in English as well as Hmong, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Call 855-612-0677 to make your appointment over the phone. Appointments are not required, walk-ins are welcome.
Everyone in Minnesota age 5 years of age or older is eligible, but consent from a parent or guardian is required for people under 18. Kids 5–15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. 16- and 17-year-olds must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian or receive permission beforehand during the scheduling process.
Mall of America vaccine clinic open Wednesday–Saturday.
The community vaccination site at Bloomington’s Mall of America is open weekly Wednesday through Friday 1–8 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.–4 p.m. This location also has Pfizer vaccines for 5- to 11-year-olds, Pfizer vaccines for people 12 and older, and Pfizer boosters for people 12 and older.

Vaccine clinics at MSP Airport open daily.
Two community vaccination sites at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport are open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week. Johnson & Johnson and Moderna vaccines and boosters are available for anyone 18 years of age or older, including travelers visiting Minnesota. Walk-ins are welcome at both locations.
Terminal 1 clinic is open to ticketed travelers only. After passing through security, look for the vaccination station in the airport mall. Closed daily from 12:30 to 1 p.m. for lunch break. Terminal 2 clinic is open to everyone. You do not need to pass through a security checkpoint; the clinic is on the ground level, between ticketing and the escalators.

 Minnesota families whose 5- to 11-year-old children get both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine between January 1 and February 28 can get a $200 Visa gift card. Parents/guardians, go to Minnesota COVID-19 Response–Kids Deserve a Shot to learn more about this program or to register for the reward after your child has received both shots. You can also sign up over the phone by calling the Minnesota COVID-19 hotline at 833-431-2053. Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on February 28, 2022.
