Fox 9 News Radon Story

Minnesota Department of Health sent this bulletin at 02/13/2012 04:03 PM CST

Greetings Radon Stakeholder:

FOX 9 News will be airing a radon story on Wednesday February 15, 2012 during the 9:00 pm news hour. The story will have interviews with local radon stakeholders including Michele O’Brien from Minnesota Oncology; Jamie Gunn, daughter of radon activist and lung cancer victim Barb Neitge; and Andrew Gilbert from the Minnesota Department of Health Radon Program.

The story will encourage Minnesotans to test their homes, fix if high, and encourage friends and family members to do likewise. It will be steering viewers to www.mn.radon.com to purchase a kit as well as the MDH Website www.health.state.mn.us/radon to learn more about radon.
