Tuesday, August 3, COVID-19 vaccines will be available on a mobile vaccination bus in Hilltop. Look for the bus from 5 to 8p.m. at Hilltop City Hall, 4555 Jackson Street Northeast. To secure your single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, pre-register at Mobile Community Vaccination Program—Hilltop City Hall.

• Anyone age 18 or older is eligible.
• Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome.
• You will not have to pay to get vaccinated.
• You will not have to show ID, insurance, or proof of citizenship. 
• Online sign-up for the mobile vaccination bus in Hilltop is available in English as well as Hmong, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

More than 3.1 million Minnesotans have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. We have made so much progress, but there is a new sense of urgency in our response. The Delta variant is significantly more infectious than the original strain of the virus; it is now causing 3 out of every 4 COVID-19 cases in our state. According to the CDC, more than 97 percent of Americans entering the hospital for COVID-19 right now are not vaccinated. Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself, your family, and your community from COVID-19.

Getting vaccinated is easy and convenient. If you don't get vaccinated at Tuesday's mobile vaccination event in Hilltop, there are many other opportunities. Vaccines are readily available from pharmacies, clinics, local public health departments, and other providers across Minnesota. Many sites welcome walk-ins. What's a mobile vaccination bus?

Minnesota Department of Health collaborated with Metro Transit to turn six buses into vaccination clinics on wheels by removing seating and installing new equipment. The Community Mobile Vaccination Program brings vaccines to people where they live and work, making it easy, safe, and convenient to get a COVID-19 vaccine. In order to meet the needs of all people, please note that some vaccines may be administered outside of the bus.
