Single-dose COVID-19 vaccines available now at MN State Fairgrounds

There’s a free COVID-19 vaccine for you at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds right now! Single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available at the Fairgrounds from noon to 8 p.m., every day now through June 8, for anyone age 18 or older. Walk-ins welcome.

To schedule your appointment at the State Fairgrounds, go to Community Vaccination Program for COVID-19 / State Fairgrounds sign-up or call 833-431-2053. Calls are answered Monday through Friday 9 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.. Operators speak multiple languages and can arrange language/ADA accommodations for your appointment. Vaccine rewards: Your Shot to Summer

A Minnesota fishing license, admission to Valley Fair, and a $25 Visa gift card are just a few of the rewards available for people who get their first COVID-19 vaccine now. Minnesotans who get their shot at the State Fairgrounds can apply for their choice of incentives at Your Shot to Summer – Vaccine Rewards. This program rewards you for getting your shot, protecting yourself, and kicking off summer the right way.


When you schedule your appointment:

  • You will be required to provide only your first and last name, date of birth, and home address.
  • If you provide your mobile phone number and/or email address, you will receive a confirmation message that includes a free Metro Transit pass for the day of your appointment

For your vaccine appointment:

  • You will be required to wear a mask and comply with social distancing guidelines.
  • You will be required to confirm your first name, last name, date of birth, and home address.
  • You will NOT have to pay, and you will NOT have to show ID or health insurance.

Transportation:

  • Metro Mobility Riders will not need a coupon or ticket to reach their vaccine appointment. Book your ride as usual and tell the reservationist that it is for a vaccine appointment at the State Fairgrounds.
  • Free rides to and from vaccine appointments are also available from ride-sharing services Lyft and Uber.
