Vitals Session at Minnesota County Recorders Association Summer Conference

Please join the Minnesota Department of Health, Office of Vital Records for the next local issuance training at Madden’s Resort in Brainerd, Minn. The training is on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the Minnesota County Recorders Association (MCRA) Summer Conference. You must register to attend the “MCRA Vitals Session” on the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Learning Center website. There is no fee to attend.

If you want to attend the “MCRA Summer Conference” and the “MCRA Vitals Session”, you must register both

• with MCRA and pay the registration fee at Summer Conference News and Updates (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Pg2kypLkh_G0MOU8o_dsxu2STQ-HxuChiqZyA6FQAuM/edit), AND,
• the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Learning Center.

To register for the “MCRA Vitals Session” go to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Learning Center website. The MDH Learning Center is set up to track individual learning. Each person who registers must have their own individual account in the learning center (no generic or group accounts). One person may not register three others to attend the Vitals Session.

The first time you visit the MDH Learning Center you will need to create a learning center account. The directions below explain how to register for the session AND how to create a learning center account during the registration process.

1. Go to Minnesota Department of Health Learning Center.
2. Click on Open Class Offerings.
3. Enter MCRA in the search field (upper left part of screen). Click the search symbol or press Enter.
4. MCRA Vitals Session HP-OVR-101 will display.
5. Click the Select Event link.
6. Click the shopping cart under Add to Cart on the right side of the page.
7. Click Proceed to Checkout.
8. If you have an MDH Learning Center account, log in with your username and password. If you do not have a learning center account, skip to step nine.
   • Click the Purchase Now button to register.
   • The Shopping Confirmation screen will appear after a bit with the message “Thank you for your purchase.”
   • Click on Registrations in the left navigation panel to see your registration. You can “Drop” the session from this page if you cannot attend.
9. If you do not have an MDH Learning Center account, click Create an Account.
   • There are three sections on the page - Basic Information, Contact Details and Attributes.
   • Complete the fields with red asterisks. (You will get an email from do-not-reply@mn.elogiclearning.com announcing the creation of your account.)
   • Click the Submit button.
   • Click the Purchase Now button to register.
   • The Shopping Confirmation screen will appear after a bit with the message “Thank you for your purchase.”
   • Click on Registrations in the left navigation panel to see your registration. You can ‘Drop” the session from this page if you cannot attend.
10. Logout.
