E-Cigarette sample slide deck

Tobacco resource for presenting to stakeholders

Content from this new tobacco tool, e-cigarette sample slide deck, can be used for presentations given to stakeholders in your communities. Keep in mind:

  • This content is most appropriate for adult audience, such as health professionals and school staff.
  • Feel free to customize to your specific audience.
  • Each slide has notes with talking points.
  • You can brand this deck as your own! Copy the content into your organizations' templates and add your own logos.

Give feedback on the MN Food Charter Network

Survey is open through Dec. 7

The purpose of the Food Charter Network, launched in 2015, is to support and foster shared action toward reliable access to healthy, safe and affordable food for all Minnesotans regardless of where they live or how much they make. The success of the Food Charter Network depends on the participation of diverse partners across our state, including individuals like you.

We need your opinion on how you think the Minnesota Food Charter Network is doing so we can determine where things are going well and where we need to make corrections. So far, we've received 80 responses but still have 100s to go!

The survey takes only 6 minutes to complete and will remain open through Friday, Dec. 7.

SHIP funding credit on communications pieces

Reminder to include language in materials

This is a reminder to grantees that all communications and marketing materials must acknowledge funding assistance from the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership. This can be accomplished by including the statewide SHIP logo on the communications piece and using the statement “Supported by the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership, Minnesota Department of Health.”

Grantees should work with their partners, including those who’ve received mini-grants, to ensure that SHIP is appropriately mentioned in media materials, including news releases. One way to set expectations is to add language in grant agreements, requiring that mini-grant recipients include SHIP funding credit language in outreach materials.

Acknowledging credit from SHIP helps show a collective impact across the state.
