SUN Bucks Program Bulletin – Week of July 28, 2025

Reminder: Upload Your Student Data

As a reminder, the SUN Bucks EDU-Portal/Summer EBT will remain open throughout the summer for schools to upload student data and will officially close for the 2025 SUN Bucks data submission on September 5, 2025. Uploading your data early helps ensure families receive benefits as soon as possible. To be included in the next issuance cycle, please submit data by Friday, August 8, 2025.

Be sure to include data for all sites where meals are served – this includes non-public/private schools, alternative learning centers, schools within intermediate districts, and similar programs. If you're unsure whether any of these schools fall within your district, refer to the “Organization ID List 2024-25” available on the MDE SUN Bucks Program page under the “SUN Bucks Eligibility Data Upload Portal (EDU-Portal) Resources” section.

Blackout Period for Education Identity and Access Management (EDIAM) Account Sign-On

Please note that the EDIAM system will be down for maintenance from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1 until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4. During this time, you will not be able to access any applications or secure reports that use EDIAM login, including the SUN Bucks EDU-Portal.

2025 SUN Bucks Office Hours

The Minnesota Department of Education SUN Bucks team continues to offer virtual office hours to support schools with any SUN Bucks-related questions. To make the most of your session, please submit a meeting request along with detailed information about your questions or concerns. This will help us review and prepare in advance to better assist you.
