Minnesota Education Grant System (MEGS) and Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CEIS) Webinar

The Minnesota Education Grant System (MEGS) is now open for state fiscal year (SFY) 2024 Mandatory FIN 429 and Voluntary FIN 425 Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CEIS) applications submissions.

MDE has scheduled a MEGS CEIS training on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 10 to 11 a.m. The MEGS CEIS training will provide guidance and technical assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) who are in the submission process for Mandatory CEIS FIN 425 and Voluntary CEIS FIN 425 applications. LEAs will need to log into MEGS to submit their assurances/applications. The deadline to submit CEIS applications in MEGS has been extended to August 1, 2023.

If the Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) has not yet gained access to MEGS, they will need to select MEGS from the list of applications in Education Identity and Access Management (EDIAM) to gain access for themselves and their staff. View EDIAM access and instructions on the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) websiteView MEGS access and information on the MDE website.

Register for the MDE MEGS CEIS webinar on the ZoomGov website. This information will also be available on the MDE CEIS webpage.  For more information regarding the webinar, please contact Alex Migambi.
