Minnesota Common Course Catalog (MCCC) Reporting Clarifications
State-Approved Online Providers
State-approved online providers are required to report in the Minnesota Automated Reporting Student System (MARSS) and MCCC. Continuing with past requirements, MARSS and MCCC course data submission is required from online providers for comprehensive online learning (OLL) students. For 2021-22, they will additionally report supplemental OLL students in MCCC only.
Districts Reporting Supplemental Online Courses
Prior to 2021-22, districts reported supplemental OLL courses in MCCC. Starting in school year 2021-22, state-approved online schools will report supplemental courses in MCCC for the receiving district. These will either be reported as transfer credits or not reported as courses in MCCC. Online courses that are not taken through state-approved providers will still be reported to MCCC by the receiving district.
Please share this information with the person who enters the MCCC data for reporting.
If you have questions regarding MCCC (e.g., how to enter MCCC data), contact Karen Millette (651-582-8632).
If you have questions regarding Online School Reporting, contact Jeff Plaman (651-582-8457).
