School-Based Community Services Training: Medicaid Reimbursement for Non-IEP Health and Mental Health Services in Schools

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and Department of Human Services (DHS) are providing WebEx training on the system changes that are being made to allow schools to provide and bill for Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP)-covered services for children enrolled in Medical Assistance who are not on an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Individualized Family Services Plan (IFSP). DHS will partner with MDE to provide training to all Minnesota public schools on how they can provide and bill for these services. See the training dates and registration information below.
