National CACFP Week March 14-20
Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Week raises awareness of how the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) CACFP works to combat hunger. CACFP plays a vital role in improving the quality of day care and making it more affordable for many low-income families. Visit the National CACFP Sponsors Association to learn more about National CACFP week and membership opportunities.
The CACFP team at the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) wants to give special thanks to all of the hard-working CACFP sponsoring organizations, staff, care providers, teachers, cooks and vended meal operators who feed children and adults every day in Minnesota. We hope you take time to celebrate all of your hard work this week!
Check out MDE’s Twitter and Facebook accounts for news about National CACFP Week.
