Minnesota Harvest Recipe Contest: Now Open!
Does your district or school have a favorite school meal recipe that features a Minnesota locally grown food? Now is your chance to submit your delicious recipes to Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) for a chance to win prizes and statewide recognition!
Check out the full contest details and instructions on the MDE Team Nutrition webpage, which includes information about the 18 Minnesota food items that are featured in the contest. 2021 Schoolyard Gardens Conference – Nature Heals
Join Minnesota's schoolyard gardens community online between Monday, March 1, and Friday, March 5, to explore the power of nature to heal Minnesotans touched by the events of 2020. Educators, Master Gardener volunteers, Farm to School advocates, school and early care nutrition operators and garden coordinators from all corners of Minnesota will convene to share their love of plants and learn more about the ways nature can heal and transform.
