Food Distribution Program (FDP)

School Year (SY) 2020-21 Fall Store Opening

The SY 2020-21 U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foods fall store is open Monday, August 31, to Wednesday, September 16. School Food Authorities (SFAs) may place orders using the new FDP2 platform in the Cyber-Linked Interactive Child Nutrition System 2 (CLiCS2).

Due to COVID-19, food prices have increased significantly resulting in a decrease in entitlements available for SFAs. USDA Foods you shopped for in the spring have been ordered, but not all have been purchased. When items are purchased, the prices reflected in CLiCS2 will be adjusted based on the current market value, and you will see a decrease in your entitlement. With the increase in food costs, we will not be offering beef, cheese and Department of Defense (DoD) Fresh Produce in the fall stores. Listed below are the USDA Food items being offered.

For assistance completing your store request, please review the Ready-Set-Shop webinar held last spring. For CLiCS2 log in issues, send an email to mde.fns@state.mn.us using the CLiCS User ID Request Form. If you have questions or require program assistance, send an email to fns.fdp@state.mn.us or mde.fns@state.mn.us.
