The Minnesota Department of Education has begun the formal rulemaking process for the possible amendments to rules governing an Individualized Education Program (IEP) team including district and statewide assessment results in an IEP, Minnesota Rules 3525.2810, Subpart 2. The request for comments will be published in the State Register on Monday, February 10, 2020. The department will accept comments on the proposed rule until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2020. For more information about how to submit a comment, please review the Request for Comments document posted on the rulemaking webpage. The proposed rule language is also posted on the rulemaking webpage.
