Reimbursements Rates.
Centers
A table in the notice lists the CACFP reimbursement rates for breakfasts, lunches/suppers and supplements at centers. At-risk afterschool care meals and supplements (snacks) are reimbursed at the highest reimbursement rates listed for centers.
The notice does not include the additional “cash-in-lieu-of” payments for lunches/suppers, which USDA will publish separately. The CACFP reimbursement rates page for centers on the MDE website will be revised when the 2018-19 “cash-in-lieu-of” rate has been announced.
Family Day Care Homes
A table in the notice lists the 2018-19 reimbursement rates for:
- Breakfasts, lunches/suppers and supplements.
- Administrative reimbursement rates for sponsoring organizations of day care homes.
The CACFP reimbursement rates page for family day care homes and sponsors on the MDE website is in process of revision.

the notice lists the federal reimbursement rates for:
- National School Lunch and School Breakfast
- Special Milk Program
- Afterschool Snacks
- The Notice does not include the entitlement
value for USDA Foods, which USDA will publish separately.
The
SNP reimbursement rates page on the MDE website, which lists the federal and
state reimbursement rates for each meal type, will be revised when the 2018-19
entitlement value for USDA Foods is available.
