State plan draft to be posted online next week
After a year and a half of stakeholder engagement and work by staff at the Minnesota Department of Education and partners, the ESSA state plan draft will be posted online on Tuesday, August 1, which will begin a month-long public comment period. Please check the ESSA page of the MDE website next week, where you will have the opportunity to review the state plan and find information on how to provide comment via a survey, email or letter. Additionally, Commissioner Cassellius is hitting the road in August to share the plan with the public, answer questions and take comments from stakeholders around the state.
