Unlock Funding: New Cost-Share Opportunities for Minnesota Farmers’ Markets
Minnesota farmers’ markets involved in food assistance programs can now apply for two cost-share programs from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA).

Senior Farmers’ Market Cost-Share Program – Markets participating in the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) in 2024 can get up to $1,000 to boost SFMNP coupon use.

Food Assistance Cost-Share Program – Markets can receive up to $1,500 for costs related to running food assistance programs like EBT, SNAP, and FMNP.
Apply to cover expenses from July 1, 2024, to June 1, 2025. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more info, visit the Farmers' Market Cost-Share Programs Webpage.
