Enjoy Life Natural Brands, LLC Expands Recall

July 20, 2022 - Enjoy Life Natural Brands LLC announced, out of an abundance of caution, an expansion of its June 30th voluntary recall, to add one product and add additional Best By dates for four products to the list of recalled products.  This recall is due to the potential presence of hard plastic pieces in the products.  This voluntary recall is not related to an allergen and no other Enjoy Life products are affected by this voluntary recall. 

The complete list of products covered by this voluntary recall is provided in the link below; newly added items are marked with an asterisk (*).  This voluntary recall is limited exclusively to the products and Best By dates listed in the link below which are sold in retail stores and online in the United States.  No other products are affected by this voluntary recall.

MSI Express Inc. Issues Recall

July 20, 2022 - MSI Express Inc., is recalling approximately 16,498 pounds of chicken and rice soup mix products, due to misbranding and undeclared allergen. 

The product contains milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. 

The not heat treated, shelf stable, Thai-style curry chicken with rice soup mix items were produced on January 19, 2022, and January 31, 2022.

Natural Grocers® Issues Recall

July 22, 2022 - Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets, Inc., is voluntarily recalling Natural Grocers® Brand 1-pound Organic Amaranth Grain due to potential Salmonella contamination.  

The recalled product is packaged in clear plastic bags weighing 1-pound and bearing the “Natural Grocers” label. Only packages bearing the following pack dates are being recalled at this time: 22-102, 22-103, 22-130, and 22-194. The pack date can be found on the lower left-hand side of the label near the USDA Organic seal.

Nature’s Sunshine Products Inc. Issues Allergy Alert

July 22, 2022 - Nature’s Sunshine Products Inc., is announcing that it initiated a voluntarily recall of two AIVIA Whey Protein & Power Herbs meal replacement products because labels do not declare milk. 

The AIVIA Whey Protein & Power Herbs products with the affected lot numbers and expiration dates were distributed between September 1, 2021, and July 20, 2022, throughout the United States via direct-to-consumer online sales and through independent distributors who sell product online or at independent health food stores.
