What you need to know Tuesday, May 5 at the Minnesota House of Representatives
Work will continue in House committees today as the clock counts down to May 18.
The House Taxes Committee will begin the day at 9:30 a.m. with HF4841, the proposal to modify the Hennepin County local sales tax authority to provide funding for Hennepin County Medical Center.
This afternoon at 1 p.m., the House Ways and Means Committee is scheduled to address HF4338, the human services supplemental finance bill, and HF2354, which would modify Medicaid fraud provisions.
Elsewhere, the House Rules and Legislative Administration Committee will meet following the day's 11 a.m. floor session (there are no bills on the Calendar for the Day for Tuesday), and the House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee plans to have a wrap-up discussion of its work at 3 p.m.
