What you need to know Monday, April 7 at the Minnesota House of Representatives
Five days until the House’s third committee deadline.
The House Agriculture Finance and Policy Committee will kick off this week’s finance-fest at 1 p.m. with a delete-all amendment for the agriculture budget bill, HF2446. Committee action is expected on Wednesday.
Elsewhere, the House Ways and Means Committee will take up HF2130 to crack down on repeat DWI offenders at 10:15 a.m., and the House Health Finance and Policy Committee will consider HF1289, which would require social media platforms to post a mental health warning, at 1 p.m.
The House has a 3:30 p.m. floor session with nine bills on its Calendar for the Day. See any amendments that were prefiled.
