What you need to know Monday, March 24 at the Minnesota House of Representatives
Welcome back for another week at the Capitol. How's your March Madness bracket looking?
Members appear to be easing into the week, with a handful of committee hearings today and a floor session with three bills on the Calendar for the Day. No amendments have been filed for consideration.
In the morning, the House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy will hear about Gov. Tim Walz’s anti-fraud proposals at 8:15 a.m. and, at 10:15 a.m., the House Ways and Means Committee gets a presentation on federal interactions with the state budget.
The afternoon will begin at 1 p.m. with the House Health Finance and Policy Committee discussing HF2371, which would require informed consent for sensitive exams performed on an anesthetized or unconscious patient.
